1 This agreement
Challa Publications publishes and sells Telugu spiritual books. When you browse this website, create an account or place an order, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Two other pages form part of this agreement: the Shipping Policy and the Replacement & Damage Policy. Please read them along with this page.
2 Your account
- You must be 18 or older to hold an account. A younger reader may order through a parent or guardian.
- Give a real name, working phone number and email — orders and delivery depend on them.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
- You may close your account at any time; we keep only the invoices tax law requires.
3 How an order becomes binding
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. The sale is made only when we confirm the order.
- You place the order It is saved as Pending and you receive an acknowledgement email.
- We check it We verify stock, the price and the delivery address.
- We confirm it The order moves to Confirmed and the contract is formed at that moment.
- We pack and dispatch You receive a tracking number by email.
We may decline an order before confirming it — if a book is out of stock, a price was listed in error, the address cannot be served, or the order looks fraudulent. If you have already paid for an order we decline, we refund the whole amount.
4 Prices and payment
- All prices are in Indian Rupees. Any tax that applies, and the delivery charge, are shown separately before you pay.
- Prices can change at any time, but the price shown when we confirm your order is the price you pay.
- Payment is taken through Razorpay. Your card, UPI or netbanking details are entered on their secure page — this website never sees or stores them.
- If a payment fails or is reversed, we may hold or cancel the order until it is settled.
- Discount codes and offers may be withdrawn at any time and cannot be applied after an order is placed.
5 Delivery
- Books are sent through a third-party courier. Delivery times and charges are set out in the Shipping Policy.
- Delivery dates are estimates. Weather, strikes, festivals and courier delays are outside our control.
- Please give a complete address with a landmark and a reachable phone number. We are not responsible for a parcel lost because the address was wrong or incomplete.
- If a parcel returns to us undelivered after repeated failed attempts, we may recover the courier cost from any refund.
6 Damage and replacement
We do not accept returns. A book cannot be sent back because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong title, or no longer want it.
If a book reaches you damaged, defective or is not the title you ordered, we replace it free of charge — provided you tell us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. The full process is in the Replacement & Damage Policy.
7 Cancelling an order
- You can cancel free of charge any time before the parcel is dispatched. Open the order from My Orders and use the Cancel button at the top.
- Money already paid is returned to the same account it came from, normally within 5 to 7 working days.
- Once the parcel has been handed to the courier, it can no longer be cancelled.
- Refusing to accept a delivered parcel is not a cancellation and does not create a refund.
8 Reviews and what you post
- Only readers who bought the book may review it, and every review is read by us before it appears.
- Write your honest opinion of the book. Do not post personal information, abuse, or anything unlawful.
- By posting a review you allow us to display it on this website alongside the book.
- We may decline or remove a review that breaks these rules. We do not remove a review merely because it is critical.
9 Copyright
The books we publish are protected by copyright, and so is this website — its text, photographs, artwork, logo and design.
Buying a book gives you the copy in your hands to read, lend and keep. It does not give you the right to scan it, copy it, upload it, translate it or reprint it. Please respect the authors.
10 What you must not do
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Sell or distribute pirated or unauthorised copies of our books
- Attempt to break into, scrape or disrupt the website
- Post fake reviews or manipulate ratings
- Create several accounts to misuse offers or discounts
- Place orders in someone else’s name or with a payment method that is not yours
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and cancel any order connected with it.
11 Availability and responsibility
We work to keep the site available and every book listing accurate, but we cannot promise the site will never be down, and a listing may occasionally carry an error in price, cover image or description.
If something goes wrong with an order, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for indirect losses — for example a missed occasion or gift.
Nothing in these terms takes away the rights Indian consumer law gives you.
12 Complaints and governing law
If something is wrong, please come to us first — most problems are settled in a single phone call. Our Grievance Officer acknowledges every complaint within 48 hours and resolves it within 30 days.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us is subject to the courts at Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
13 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order, so a change never affects an order already confirmed.
