The Beginning
A Century of Sacred Knowledge
The journey of Challa Publications began in 1909, founded by Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Sastry in Machilipatnam. In an era when handwritten palm-leaf manuscripts were limited only to scholars, our journey began with the vision of bringing the wisdom of the Vedas and Puranas to every Telugu home.
Today, through our parent organization Krishna Agencies and SLN Press in Vijayawada, we continue this legacy. And through technology, we are bringing those sacred texts closer to the present generation as well.
